  We held a private function there for about 50 people in January 2018 and the owners were beyond accommodating. Easily got a liquor licence and they supplied excellent food and service. Again and again they went out of their way to make sure the event was special. A beautiful space for any function. Thank you.

  This is our favourite place to stop on the long drive to our trailer in the summer. The mushroom burger is divine and they serve the best fries I have ever eaten. Our granddaughter eats ALL of her grilled cheese that is made on nice thick bread with real cheese and the mango juice is a real treat for her. We love to take our food and sit out by the bubbling brook when we can and then browse the bookstore for all our fave books. The desserts are glorious! A must stop if you are going by.

  If you want a really unique experience when you're hungry for lunch you will love this mill restaurant /bookshop. The food is ordered at the counter and the tables are found amid the vast assortment of new and used books. Homemade soup, salad, sandwiches, chili and much much more provide a delightful meal and there are always butter tarts to satisfy the sweet tooth. The proprietors know all about the thousands of books that line the shelves throughout this interesting old Mill. I certainly recommend that you eat and then browse to enjoy this unbelievable treasure of a business that sits beside hwy 6 in Williamsford.

  Love this place! The café offers a great selection of delicious food and the used book store offers hours of browsing bliss. Well worth the trip.

  I really can't give enough complimentary comments about the warmth and lovely atmosphere at the Great Books bookstore in the Old Mill in Williamsford. Such a sweet spot. Had a memorial celebration there for my husband as he was an avid reader. Tamara and Peter went out of their way to help us make it special. GREAT food, GREAT people and GREATLY grateful that we have this gem and such fine people in our neighborhood. Thank you!
